- Vulnerable (300) - Berkshire; Large Black; Middle White; Welsh
- At Risk (500) - British Saddleback
- Traditional (1000) - Gloucestershire Old Spots
The pig: The most valuable tool for the smallholder, able to prepare the soil for planting and to convert surplus and waste food into lean meat.
